Tiffin Carriers

The Tiffin Carriers or Dabbas are the traditional lunch boxes made of Metal. These Dabbas are widely used in the Indian Subcontinent by School Children and Office goers. They can vary from single compartment to multiple compartments to hold a wide variety of food. They come in all shapes and sizes to fit everyone's needs. A typical Indian household would have a wide range of Tiffin boxes to suit every type of food.
Tiffin carriers are usually packed with healthy and nutritious homemade food. Still, they are slowly getting replaced by Plastic containers and Restaurant food. In Mumbai, India, an intricate system is used to deliver these Dabbas to the workplace from home. The team providing these services are called "Dabbawallas". The Tiffin Carriers are also used in other parts of Asia, especially Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.
