The primary objective of this archive is to learn from the design heritage of Indian subcontinent. We wish this list helps students, designer, and thinkers to reflect on design in general in Indian context. We believe this throws some light on how these were created. This could influence how we look at designing our futures or appreciate what we already have in a more informed way. This compilation would also help us see any emerging trends or patterns in this subcontinent specific design sensibility and design process and learn something from there as well.
